PDN ANALYZER BY ELECMORE PRIVACY NOTICE Version 1.1.0 | Public Beta / Preview Last updated: 4 October 2026 1. Who is responsible for your information ELECMORE LTD is the controller of personal information used to operate the PDN Analyzer account and support services. ELECMORE LTD is a United Kingdom company registered in England and Wales under company number 15835884. Contact: info@elecmore.com For privacy matters, please use the subject "PDN Analyzer privacy request". Policy URL: https://elecmore.com/pdn/privacy Company website: https://elecmore.com/ This notice covers PDN Analyzer by Elecmore, its account API, banners and feedback service, and the dedicated PDN privacy page. Websites opened through an external link may apply their own privacy and cookie policies. 2. PCB designs and engineering data You retain ownership of your PCB files, designs, projects, analysis settings and outputs. We do not sell your PCB or project data. PCB files, board geometry, net names and electrical analysis results are processed locally on your computer. The account system does not automatically upload PCB designs, project files or electrical results. The banner and feedback systems do not automatically upload those files either. Reports, CSV exports, PNG captures and configurations are saved to destinations you choose. If you deliberately type project information or personal information into a feedback message, that text is transmitted with your submission. Do not include confidential designs or information you are not authorized to disclose. 3. Account, connection and support information Account information: your supplied name and email address, account identifier, account status, application version, registration/verification/login and last-seen timestamps, and authentication/session records. Authentication information: OTP challenge identifiers, verification information, session identifiers and signed access grants. The backend verifies OTPs and session tokens using stored hashes rather than plaintext OTP/token values. The OTP, email address and necessary session credentials are transmitted to the account service when required to authenticate you or renew access. Connection/security information: information needed to handle requests and prevent abuse, such as IP addresses, request timestamps and rate-limit records. The application's rate-limit database uses keyed hashes of the relevant IP, email or account identifier. Hosting and email providers may separately process connection logs and email-delivery information when operating their services. Feedback information: your selected category, subject and message; ticket identifier, status and timestamps; your authenticated account identity; application version, KiCad version and operating-system family/version. Authorized administrators may add private notes to support tickets. Optional diagnostics: the checkbox starts unchecked. Selecting it allows only the solver mode, last-analysis status, selected result-view mode, renderer mode, node count, branch count and solve time to be added. Counts and solve time are aggregate analysis statistics. This payload does not include PCB filenames or paths, board geometry, net names, source/load definitions, electrical result arrays or project files. The service does not accept PCB attachments through this feedback form. Passwords, OTPs, tokens and private keys are not automatically included in feedback message or diagnostic fields. Please do not type them into a message. 4. Why we use information and our lawful bases We use necessary account and authentication information to provide the service you request, deliver OTP email, manage sessions and apply existing access and entitlement policy. This processing is necessary to perform the service agreement with you, or take steps at your request before entering that agreement. We use proportionate security/request information to protect accounts and infrastructure, prevent abuse and investigate service problems. We also use submitted feedback and the accompanying software information to handle support, investigate defects and improve the product. Our basis is our legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure engineering service and responding to users; those interests must be balanced against your rights and interests. We rely on your consent for optional diagnostic fields sent after you select the diagnostic checkbox. You can leave it unchecked and still send feedback. You can withdraw that consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. We will stop consent-based use and assess erasure, subject to any lawful obligation or legal-claim grounds requiring limited retention. We do not treat your checkbox selection as consent to unrelated collection or marketing. Where an applicable legal obligation requires information to be retained or disclosed, the basis for that processing is compliance with that obligation. 5. Local storage, banners and website access On Windows, saved account/session information is protected with Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI) for the signed-in Windows user. Account tokens are not written into PCB/project configurations. Sign-out clears the local stored session and attempts server-side logout. Uninstall preserves engineering files and existing protected account data; it does not delete a server account. The desktop application connects over HTTPS to accounts.elecmore.com for its account, access-policy, banner and feedback services. Banner metadata and images are requested when used. Clicking a banner opens its permitted HTTPS destination in your browser; the destination website's own policies then apply. The dedicated PDN privacy page is a static information page. Its supplied page code uses no analytics, tracking scripts or cookies. The web host may record ordinary HTTP access information such as an IP address, requested URL and time. This statement about the dedicated page does not describe every page on the main company website or the authenticated administration panel. 6. Who can receive information and overseas processing Access is limited to authorized Elecmore personnel and service providers whose work requires it, such as hosting/infrastructure and email-delivery providers. The account service is hosted using the publisher's Hostinger hosting setup. Recipients may also include advisers or authorities where necessary to handle a legal claim or comply with a valid legal obligation. The application does not automatically send your local PCB/project files to these recipients. Hosting or email-provider infrastructure may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a transfer is restricted under UK data-protection law, the appropriate protection must apply, such as an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards with any required assessment and additional measures. Contact info@elecmore.com to request information about the processing locations and applicable safeguards or an available copy of those safeguards. 7. Retention Retention depends on why each record is needed. An OTP or session expiry ends the corresponding access validity; it does not by itself erase account or support information. The criteria for retention are whether an account is needed to provide ongoing access; whether authentication/security records remain necessary to detect replay, investigate abuse or resolve an incident; whether a support ticket or its notes are needed to resolve the issue or provide relevant continuing support; and whether information is needed for a specific legal obligation or claim. Information should be deleted or anonymized once it is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to any justified legal retention. Retention review and requests for deletion are separate from access expiration. You may contact us to request account closure or erasure and ask how these criteria apply to your information. Uninstall and sign-out do not erase all server records. We do not advertise a single fixed deletion interval for every type of information. Hosting/email logs and backups are also subject to their applicable retention procedures. 8. Your rights and choices Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and portability. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions; erasure may not be required where information must be retained for a lawful obligation or legal claim. RIGHT TO OBJECT: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact info@elecmore.com with the subject "PDN Analyzer privacy request". We will consider the request under applicable law. You may also use that contact for other privacy requests. We may need proportionate information to verify identity before disclosing or changing account information; do not send a password, OTP or account token. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ You may also have a right to complain to another competent data-protection authority under the law applicable to you. Providing the required account information and verifying your email is necessary for normal account access. You may choose not to submit feedback or optional diagnostics. Automatic validation of OTPs, sessions, signed grants and software versions implements the existing account-access rules. Contact Elecmore if you believe an access decision is incorrect. The application does not use your local PCB data to make a manufacturing or safety certification decision. 9. Security and notice changes The application uses certificate-validated HTTPS for production service requests and Windows DPAPI for local account storage. These safeguards do not guarantee absolute security. Protect your Windows account and email and keep authentication secrets out of support messages. An updated notice will be published at https://elecmore.com/pdn/privacy when the relevant practices change. Changes do not override applicable privacy or consumer rights and do not make previously undisclosed processing lawful. Copyright © 2026 ELECMORE LTD.
