PDN ANALYZER BY ELECMORE
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Version 1.1.0 | Public Beta / Preview | Windows 10 compatibility candidate

VALIDATION STATUS
This separate Windows 10 candidate is for owner acceptance testing. Windows 10
support is pending a successful clean Windows 10 x64 / KiCad 10.0.6 x64 test.
Do not publish it as validated Windows 10 support before that test passes.
See SYSTEM_REQUIREMENTS_WINDOWS10.txt for the candidate minimum and exclusions.
The approved release notes and legal/compliance materials are reused unchanged.

1. Prepare

Use Windows 10 x64 and install official KiCad 10.0.6 x64 first. Confirm its
version in KiCad's About dialog. Obtain the PDN Analyzer installer and checksum
files from the official Elecmore release page. Do not use a modified installer
or copy files from an unofficial application folder.

Installer filename:
    PDN-Analyzer-by-Elecmore-1.1.0-Windows10-Setup.exe

Keep Windows security protection enabled. This Public Beta installer is not
signed with a Windows Authenticode publisher certificate, so Windows may display
an unknown-publisher or reputation warning. Confirm the official download source
and checksum. If security software reports a threat or blocks installation,
record the message and contact Elecmore; do not disable protection to continue.

2. Verify the checksum

Compare the installer SHA-256 against the value published on the official release
page and in PDN-Analyzer-by-Elecmore-1.1.0-Windows10-Setup.exe.sha256 or SHA256SUMS-Windows10.txt.
In PowerShell, from the download folder, run:

    Get-FileHash -LiteralPath '.\PDN-Analyzer-by-Elecmore-1.1.0-Windows10-Setup.exe' -Algorithm SHA256

All hexadecimal characters must match the published SHA-256, ignoring letter
case. If they do not, stop and obtain a fresh official copy. A matching checksum
checks the supplied bytes; it does not itself establish a trusted Windows
publisher identity. The installed application's separate integrity verification
also does not turn the installer into an Authenticode-signed executable.

3. Install

Save your work and close KiCad. Start the installer, read the EULA and privacy
notice, and follow the wizard. Setup installs for your current Windows user and
normally does not require administrator rights. The default application folder
is:

    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Elecmore\PDN Analyzer

Confirm that the selected KiCad installation is official KiCad 10.0.6 x64.
Setup queries that KiCad runtime for its plugin location and registers the
Elecmore loader there. The application runtime is already in the package; no
source workspace, developer Python installation or build tools are needed.

If Setup cannot locate a compatible KiCad installation, select its installation
directory in the wizard. If KiCad is not yet installed, install it first and
rerun Setup to register the plugin. Do not manually copy proprietary application
files into KiCad's directories.

4. Open the plugin and sign in

Restart KiCad and open its PCB Editor. Choose:

Tools > External Plugins > PDN Analyzer by Elecmore

The application displays version 1.1; this release's package version is 1.1.0.
Use the existing registration/sign-in flow and enter the OTP delivered to your
email. Check spam/junk folders if a code does not arrive. Do not share an OTP or
include it in feedback. A session stored for a different Windows user/computer
should not be copied; sign in normally on each supported installation.

Open your PCB, configure the existing sources, loads and analysis settings, and
run your analysis. Validate the resulting engineering quantities and export
reports only to destinations you intend. The application account system does
not automatically upload PCB designs or electrical results.

5. Reinstall, upgrade and uninstall

Close KiCad before rerunning Setup. Install into the same application folder to
replace the owned application payload and maintain the registered loader. Keep
PCB projects and exported results in your normal project/data folders.

To uninstall, use Windows Settings > Apps > Apps & features and select PDN
Analyzer by Elecmore, or use the installed Uninstall PDN Analyzer shortcut.
Uninstall removes the application payload and its unchanged owned KiCad loader.
Engineering files, reports and existing protected account data are preserved.
Use the application's sign-out action if you want to clear its local session;
uninstall does not delete your server account.

6. Troubleshooting and feedback

If the plugin is absent, confirm the KiCad version and installation selected in
Setup, close KiCad, rerun Setup and restart the PCB Editor. If an integrity error
appears, reinstall from an official package. Do not edit verification files or
application dependencies to bypass the error.

Use the application's existing red bug feedback button for normal support
messages. Optional diagnostics start unchecked. Do not include passwords, OTPs,
tokens, private keys, confidential PCB information or personal file paths in a
message. Product/support website: https://elecmore.com/

7. Silent operation

Close KiCad first. Setup supports /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART.
If automatic KiCad discovery fails, add /KICADDIR="C:\Program Files\KiCad.0".
Use the installed unins000.exe with the same silent switches to uninstall.
Setup keeps the same application identity and normal installation location so
reinstallation preserves its owned plugin registration and protected account
data. This is a separate platform package for the same application, not a second
parallel installation. Windows 10 and Windows 11 installers cannot be selected
interchangeably: each package enforces its own operating-system target.

Before uploading this candidate, complete the owner's 24-check acceptance test,
including normal login/OTP, rendering, export, numerical comparison and
uninstall/reinstall. Keep security protection enabled throughout the test.
